BAPTISM

Water Baptism is an essential component of the New Birth (Mk 16:15; Luke 24:47; 1Peter 3:20-21). It is correctly administered by obeying Matthew 28:19 rather than repeating Jesus' words. In order to properly obey Jesus' command one must be baptized in the one singular comprehensive name "of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost " and this name is Jesus (Acts 2:38; 8:16; 10:48; 19:5).
